Environmental Stewardship
We actively support and seek to act in accordance with the global chemical industry’s Responsible Care® initiative to drive continuous improvement in safe chemicals management and excellence in environmental, health, safety, and security performance. For NCP, the core elements of this include:
- Active Product Stewardship program. We strive to minimize our environmental impact by developing and promoting eco-friendly paint formulations, including ones that are low in VOC & HAPs content, free from substances of concern (SoC’s), and products which reduce user risk exposure.
- We invest in research and innovation to continuously improve our products’ sustainability, durability, energy efficiency, and include lifecycle management considerations in our new product design and operations management.
- We adhere to strict environmental regulations, actively monitor and mitigate potential risks, and implement responsible waste management throughout our operations.
- We invest in improvements to our company sites to eliminate, contain, and mitigate any potential environmental risks.
Social Responsibility
We believe that our responsibility extends beyond manufacturing high-quality paints. We are dedicated to forming strong bonds with our local community by actively engaging in social initiatives, including donations to local community programs, participating in local and regional programs, and recruiting from our local technical and high schools.
- We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and communities by working to always improve safety in our team’s working environment, investing in comprehensive training programs, and promoting a culture of health and safety.
- We promote equal opportunities and create a supportive work environment for all employees by implementing fair and equitable HR policies and procedures, which enhances employee retention.
- We maintain strong cybersecurity programs, and none of NCP’s revenue is derived from unethical or illegal activities.
